Rebel Wilson remembers actor harassment on set and when the director tried to get her drunk

Australian actress Rebel Wilson, 41, made harsh revelations to the BBC about two moments in which she was harassed. In one of them, a famous actor whose name was not revealed lowered his pants in front of her.

In the interview, Rebel said she was shooting a movie in Los Angeles when she was invited by the artist to enter a trailer. When they both entered, he took off his clothing and asked her to have sex with him, but she refused.

“I was in shock and I thought, ‘What’s going on?’ And I just said, ‘No, what’s this?’ Like, ‘no, no, no,'” he explained. “His friends were laughing and he clearly was kind of enjoying it,” she recalled, citing colleagues pointing cameras out of the window.

Another moment took place in a hotel room when she was 20 years old. A famous film director called her to talk and she thought it was a meeting to talk about comedy.

But actually the filmmaker started trying to get her drunk and intended to sleep with her. This was proven when he received a call and she overheard the content of the conversation. So, he decided to run away.

In the same interview, the Australian actress also said that she did not have the full support of those around her when she started her weight loss process, mainly due to her career as the “funny fat girl”. She has lost around 30 kilos since the pandemic began.

“I got a lot of resistance from my own team, actually, here in Hollywood, when I said, ‘Okay, I’m going to do this health year, I feel like I’m really going to physically transform and change my life,'” the actress said.

According to Rebel, her team asked her why she tried to lose weight earning millions of dollars being a funny fat girl. “Like I didn’t need a pot of ice cream every night. Those were my mind-numbing emotions using food, which wasn’t the healthiest thing.”
