Fitness influencer Maíra Cardi, 39, took to social media to counter what she calls “lies” about the reasons that would have led her and Arthur Aguiar, 33, to the separation.
First, Cardi denied that Arthur had “three or four lovers” as some outlets claimed. “It’s very sad to know that at such a sad time, people want likes, they want engagement,” he began.
“If I don’t speak out, people will feed on lies. I started the day reading that I broke up because Arthur had four or three lovers. Then, the reason was that he signed a power of attorney for me, which I kept his money and then another saying I was going to be in jail for nine months for insulting someone,” she added. “What I mean is, respect,” she concluded.
The announcement that the marriage had come to an end was made last Thursday (6) when she shared an old click next to her partner, when she was still pregnant. “End of our journey together, but the beginning of a new path better for both of us,” she wrote in the caption.
The singer and winner of Big Brother Brasil 22 (Globo) Arthur Aguiar spoke for the first time about the end of the marriage the following day. “Independent[mente] whether we are together or not at the moment, we will forever be a family. As I said yesterday, the last word comes from God,” he posted, showing images of him with his now ex-wife and daughter.
