Fernanda Montenegro cries when meeting Milton Nascimento’s interpreter at the theater

At 93 years old and with more than 70 of them dedicated to art, actress Fernanda Montenegro still gets emotional when she sees a colleague do a good performance. An example is the actor Tiago Barbosa, who after a performance in the musical in honor of Milton Nascimento received the affection of Fernanda.

“My son, I’m sorry I’m calling you son. You sang, we cried. What a beautiful day. A kiss, dear, congratulations. You sing wonderfully”, she said before kissing the protagonist of the play “Clube da Corner – Dreams Don’t Get Old”.

Through social networks, Barbosa also published an excerpt of the video and thanked him. “Fernanda, thank you so much for your kind words, for your blessing and your interest in wanting to know more about me. I still don’t know how to explain what that moment was,” he wrote.

Celebrities also praised the artist and the meeting. “What an emotion”, published Leonardo Miggiorin. “Extremely deserved”, opined Evelyn Castro. “This is the recognition of a beautiful work. When art touches those who make art, history changes course, it gets stronger”, wrote the stylist Arlindo Grund.

The show that celebrates the 50th anniversary of the album “Clube da Esquina” was on display in Rio and will come to São Paulo on the 28th.
