A video that shows part of the celebrations for the victory of president-elect Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) on Avenida Paulista, in São Paulo, went viral on social networks and provoked dozens of comments this Monday (31).

In the images, sociologist Rosângela da Silva, aka Janja, jumps excitedly on the electric trio where Lula spoke on Sunday (30) and the president-elect makes signs for the future first lady to be careful. To the side, the vice president-elect, Geraldo Alckmin (PSB), smiles and applauds.

“The first lady that we love”, said the writer Fernanda Mello when commenting on the video. “Have someone who takes care of you like Lula takes care of Janja”, commented a fan of the couple.

Dressed in red and smiling, Janja also jumped hand in hand with singer Daniela Mercury, as shown in a video shared by the sociologist herself.

In the trio and also in red, Daniela sang one of her greatest hits, “O Canto da Cidade”, for the thousands of people who occupied the Paulista on Sunday night.

“Twice tri in the same weekend. Mengão and Mozão from my heart”, said Janja about winning the Copa Libertadores da América by Flamengo and her husband’s electoral victory.

This Monday (31), the sociologist revealed a meeting between her and Lula with the singer Milton Nascimento.

“Exhausted with happiness. Our day started at 9 am and ended just now with this wonderful surprise. My heart couldn’t take it, I cried like a child”, he said.

Janja also appeared crying in Lula’s first speech after being elected, surrounded by allies in a hotel in São Paulo. She was at her husband’s side and helped him remove the sheets with the text of the pronouncement.

Born in União da Vitória, Paraná, Janja has been a member of the PT since 1983 and graduated in sociology from the Federal University of Paraná.

She was a stampede of the Vigil Lula Livre, mounted in front of the headquarters of the Superintendence of the Federal Police in Curitiba while the president-elect was in prison. Janja visited her future husband frequently, wrote letters daily and sometimes prepared meals that were taken to the PT.

The two were married on May 18 this year, in a ceremony with about 150 guests, including family members, politicians and artists.
