This Thursday (24), the day of the debut of the Brazilian football team in the World Cup, the father of Neymar Jr., 30, published a long text to wish his son a good game. On his Instagram profile, Neymar Pai –as he is called by the star’s fans– even shared videos of the athlete.

“The big moment has arrived. Today will be the first battle of seven great challenges. Each match will be like a lifetime and, until we reach the grand finale, on the 18th, we will have to fight for every centimeter of the field, for every ball and in every one of the 90 minutes,” he began.

He goes on to say that the journey will not be easy, but that his son and his companions are prepared to “make all Brazilians happy”. “I know how much you wanted this Cup, each character that inspired you, each friend that motivated you and we, your family, walk this path always with God.”

“May you and everyone in the Brazilian team have fun on the field and shine as always. Good luck son! Good luck Brazil!”, he added. In addition, the father of the number 10 of the national team also shared a biblical verse in the caption of the video.

The duel between Brazil and Serbia, at 4 pm (Brasília time) this Thursday, will be broadcast live by Globo (open TV), SporTV (closed TV) and digital platforms Fifa+ and Globoplay (streaming), in addition to the channels of the digital influencer Casimiro on Youtube and Twitch.
