Antonia Fontenelle is condemned for saying that Neto brothers encourage pedophilia

by

Actress and presenter Antonia Fontenelle received on Wednesday (15) a sentence for providing community services and a fine of R$ 9,000 for having accused YouTubers Felipe and Luccas Neto of inciting pedophilia. The decision in the first instance was issued by the 39th Criminal Court of Rio de Janeiro, and the defense has already said that it will appeal.

In 2020, Fontenelle published an edited video on Instagram with distorted speeches by the influencers, which ended with an accusation of pedophilia and the eroticization of minors. She added, in the caption, that “Felipe Neto and Luccas Neto, two millionaire brothers, make money with children and teenagers whose parents ignore what their children consume on the internet”.

Judge Ricardo Coronha Pinheiro found Fontenelle guilty of libel, libel and defamation. The defense argument that it had “the sole intention of provoking discussion and readjustment of the content produced [pelos irmãos]” was denied.

INDICTMENT

After the publication of the first video, the actress posted a text with more offenses to youtubers on her Instagram. In it, she claims that Felipe would have threatened to “introduce a butt plug in the underage follower, who according to your speech, has erotic dreams about you”, and that Luccas would have “paid a blowjob in a glass bottle”.

Fontenelle rebutted the accusations at other times, changing words and adding that the brothers “teach children to set fire to their homes with a blowtorch.” Upon finding out about the criminal complaint made by the Netos against her in the Rio de Janeiro court, she publicly called Felipe a “cowardly kid and a bad character.”

In the opinion of the judge responsible for the case, Fontenelle committed slander by imputing to the brothers a fact defined as a crime (in this case, pedophilia and its incitement). The crime of insult was for calling Felipe a “cowardly brat and bad character”, “effectively attacking his subjective honor”, and the crime of libel for saying that Luccas simulated sexual acts in a bottle.

FELIPE NETO CELEBRATES

In a video posted on social media, Felipe Neto told followers that “the ‘Bolsonarista’ who hates me”, referring to Fontenelle, “who linked my brother and I to pedophilia, was once again condemned.”

“The judge sentenced, for three slanders, two libels and one libel, to one year in prison replaced by community service,” he continued. The content producer claims that the dispute between the three began with a political disagreement, but that “it left the democratic field” when “they started with associations with pedophilia”.

“I’m not even able to explain to you what it’s like to know that millions of people have bought the speech that you are a pedophile,” said Felipe, moved. “The pain and anger it causes in humans is supernatural. And seeing my brother do it too.”

Wanted by F5, Antonia Fontenelle stressed that the decision was in the first instance and stated that she will appeal. “For now, nothing to declare. Let’s talk about what is real at the right time,” he said.

On Instagram, the actress told followers about the conviction, and defended herself: “I will never apologize for the wrong. Never. You bet.”

“Every time I sit in front of a judge, in a criminal’s chair, in a defendant’s chair,” he continued. “I have the gift of communication, I explain very well why I’m there, I explain and prove it. If the judge still understands that I’m wrong, it’s up to me to appeal”.
