Actress Deborah Secco revealed this Friday (2) curiosities about the backstage of the TV show Tá na Copa (Sportv) and the daring costume created exclusively for her, which has generated criticism and reverberated even in the foreign press. She made her debut this year as a commentator for the Qatar World Cup.
At each round table, the actress wears a different outfit, customized with the station’s uniform by costume designer Carolina Gama – the author of the idea. The actress said that she will wear 29 different looks this season and that she started the World Cup with 15 of them ready.
“In an attempt to make it very clear to the public that I am not a journalist, much less a sports commentator. I am an actress in search of entertainment”, explained Secco, who has received criticism from unknowns, but support from friends and colleagues of profession like Maria Ribeiro and Gabriela Prioli.
Secco revealed that the outfit he liked the most so far was the one used in the show’s debut and that he received a lot of criticism from people for finding it too revealing. The actress’ favorite look was a transformed and cropped shirt and extremely low-waisted pants that left her panties on display.
To participate as a commentator, the actress said that she arrives at the station four hours before the start of the program, at 22:30, to get ready and record. “I have to get here at 6:30 pm. I have to record off, record chroma and take about two hours to get ready. It’s been a saga every day”, said Secco.
Despite all the rapport with her studio colleagues, the actress stated that, with the exception of Aloísio Chulapa, she knew very little about Igor Rodrigues and Magno Navarro. “Our first meeting felt like we were childhood friends, we exchanged everything about our lives, we laughed and told secrets. I think that helped a lot in our rapport.”
