Dora (Despina Yiannopoulou) is still angry with her mother for hiding the truth from her, but mostly with herself. Angry that she made her mother “the star of her own life” but also angry that he bad-mouthed her just before she died.

Dora tells the Doctor what happened since her previous appointment. She tries to deal with her mother’s death, while she asks a woman from the past, Martha, to enter her life. Sakis arrives at the office more cheerful, bringing with him his baglamadaki. But when he remembers the time when he was a small, homeless child, trying to survive on the street, his thinking suddenly turns dark…
