The Dark Tower horror series consists of eight novels inspired by many genres, fantasy, science fiction, horror and western
Mike Flanagan plans to carry the book series “The Dark Tower” (The Dark Tower) by Stephen King on the television screen.
Flanagan, a writer, director and producer known for creating the Netflix series “The Haunting of Hill House,” said in an interview with Deadline that he is preparing a new series with Trevor Macy based on the Stephen King saga.
The Dark Tower horror series consists of eight novels inspired by many genres, fantasy, science fiction, horror and western.
The series follows him Ronald Deshayne in search of the magical and mysterious Black Tower.
Flanagan and Macy, who founded Intrepid Pictures in 2004, envision a five-episode television series to be followed by two standalone feature films.
The two have previously successfully adapted King’s novels ‘Gerald’s Game’ and ‘Doctor Sleep’.
