Firefighters – artists exhibit their paintings

The “Life’s Works” exhibition with paintings created by firefighters was inaugurated on Thursday evening in a hall in Monastiraki, as part of the events for the celebration of the Patrons of P.S. “Three Children on the Way”.

The exhibition hosts visual works of firefighters who try to capture the battles they fight in the field, essentially constituting a soul testimony for the everyday life they experience.

The art exhibition “LIFE WORKS” which is hosted in the “Project Gallery” hall, Normanou 3, Monastiraki (inside the gallery, 1st floor), will last until Saturday, December 17, 2022 and will be open to the public at 1:00 p.m. until 21:00.

The Minister of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection, Christos Stylianidis, described the exhibition as a “dedication of the soul”, expressing at the same time his pride for the Fire Brigade and his congratulations to those who participated.

For his part, the Deputy Minister of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection, Evangelos Tournas, whose painting “Eagle” is also featured in the exhibition, after expressing his congratulations to the participants noted: “The firefighter who fights day and night with fire and water, finds time to calm down through art. I am glad to see such works of art and also to be among you.”

The head of the Fire Department, lieutenant general, Alexios Rapanos, described the report as “excellent”, adding that such activities are a step forward.
