“It is the difference we have made in the lives of others that will determine the meaning of the lives we live,” said Meghan Markle
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s new Netflix project is coming to the streaming service this month.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are executive producers on “Live to Lead,” a documentary series that will premiere on December 31.
Appearing in the trailer, Prince Harry says: “We took this inspiration from Nelson Mandela, who once said, ‘What counts in life is not the fact that we’ve lived.'”
Megan continues, “It’s the difference we’ve made in the lives of others that will determine the meaning of the lives we live.”
The series will follow leaders and activists “reflecting on their legacies and sharing messages of courage, compassion, humility [και] of hope”. It will include interviews with the late US Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, climate change activist Greta Thunberg, social justice lawyer Brian Stevenson, New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, the captain and striker of the national rugby team of South Africa Siya Kolisi, journalist, activist Gloria Steinem and anti-apartheid activist and former South African Constitutional Court judge Albie Sachs.
“These are people who have made brave choices,” says Prince Harry in the trailer. “To fight for change and become leaders,” Megan adds.
The release comes shortly after the premiere of the couple’s documentary ‘Harry & Meghan’.
