Luan Santana already has 15 years of career and, to commemorate the date, he will star in a special about his trajectory at Som Brasil (Globo). The musical airs on Monday (26th), after the telenovela “Travessia”, and is produced by the team responsible for the program Conversa com Bial.
The musical was inspired by productions starring singer Elvis Presley, of whom Luan declares himself a fan. “My dream feat is Elvis Presley, he is my great idol, since I started my career, he has always inspired me”, she says.
“We discovered a special at the end of the year, from 1968, with Elvis, and we brought, for example, a similar concept to the musicals, which are more intimate, with fewer people”, says Gian Carlo Bellotti, general director of the program.
Journalist Pedro Bial will present the program leading the conversation with the singer and playing different roles in Luan City, the fictional city where the show takes place.
The special’s stage will have three scenarios of Luan City: an airplane, a bar and a cinema. On the plane, Bial is the pilot and Luan, the passenger; in the bar, the presenter is a bartender and the singer is one of the customers; at the cinema, Bial will watch scenes from the protagonist’s story.
The interviews will be interspersed with musical performances. In addition to hits such as “Amar Não É Pecado”, Luan prepared an unprecedented repertoire with songs by other artists, such as “Ainda Bem”, by Marisa Monte and Arnaldo Antunes, “Você Não Me Ensino a Te Esquecer”, by Caetano Veloso and ” Can’t Help Falling in Love” by Elvis Presley.
