NFL star Tom Brady, 45, celebrated Christmas with his kids a little late this year. That’s because his ex-wife Gisele Bündchen, 42, was in Brazil with Benjamin, 12, and Vivian, 9, during the holidays.

Brady posted photos of his Christmas celebration this Tuesday (27) on Instagram stories. In them, the two children with Gisele appear hugging John Edward Thomas Moynahan, son of the NFL star with Bridget Moynahan. There are also photos of Christmas stockings and gifts received by children.

This Sunday (25), Christmas Day, the American football player was on the field for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The quarterback’s team beat the Arizona Cardinals 19-16.

It’s the first Christmas since Brady and Gisele announced their divorce in October. For the celebrations, the Brazilian model booked an entire hotel in Gramado (RS). She arrived in the city on December 21 with a group of around 15 people, including her children, Vivian and Benjamin, her parents and sister Patrícia Bündchen.

Gisele went on trips to Serra Gaúcho and recorded moments at the end of the year with her children on Instagram. “Recharging with my little ones in the country of my heart,” she wrote.

Brady had spoken about the experience of spending Christmas alone. “I’m going to learn to deal with Christmas night in a hotel. I’m going to have to learn to deal with Christmas and Christmas night and still go out there and be a pro,” he told Let’s Go! with Tom Brady, Larry Fitzgerald and Jim Gray Sirius XM, on November 19th. “It will be a new experience that I’ve never had before, which I’ll learn to deal with… I guess that’s what life is about.”
