American comedian Bill Cosbywho was convicted of a felony sexual assault charge in 2018, plans to return to performing live.
In an interview with WGH Talk radio, the 85-year-old Cosby responded positively when asked if he plans to tour again in 2023. “There’s so much fun in this storytelling that I do,” the actor told radio host Scott Spears. “Years ago, maybe 10 years ago, I found that it’s better to say it after I write it. I feel like I’m going to be able to show up and be the Cosby that my audience knows me to be.”
His representative, Andrew Wyattconfirmed to Variety that the comedian is “thinking about… going on tour” in the spring or summer of 2023.
The one-time “America’s Favorite Dad” has been accused of sexually assaulting more than 60 women. His conviction was considered a milestone in the #MeToo movement, in its fight against sexual violence against women.
