Dayane Mello says that Nego do Borel ‘did not commit sexual abuse’ during A Fazenda

Model Dayane Mello, 32, spoke on Instagram’s Stories about the controversy involving singer Nego do Borel, 29, accused of sexually abusing the ex-peoa while they slept together during the confinement of the 13th edition of the reality series A Fazenda (Record) .

“Arriving at my house, I came across a lot. What really hurts me the most is giving blame to a person who didn’t abuse me, who didn’t rape me. Nothing happened. As much as all the women in the world want me to be a spokeswoman for a rape, I will not be,” she wrote.

“I’m not going to make a person look like a rapist because he didn’t rape me. I’m at peace, I’m not able to take on that responsibility knowing what happened that night,” he said. “I can’t be a spokesman for something that didn’t happen,” he added.

At the time of controversy, pressure from the public and sponsors of the reality show, together with the investigation of the case, resulted in the expulsion of Nego do Borel from the program at the end of September. The model also shared a text in Stories, denying that there was an abuse.

“Although his conduct was not as prudent as possible in the situation, he did not commit sexual abuse against me. He did not rape me.

“That’s why I couldn’t stop talking about the conclusion I reached, as it would not be fair that his conduct, however reckless it was, be seen as criminal,” added the model, who finally thanked her for the support she received from us. last days.

The singer left the reality show on September 25 after the Civil Police of São Paulo opened an investigation to investigate an alleged rape he had committed against Dayane Mello, a fellow prisoner. At the time, the model said that she did not remember most of the things that happened after a party within the program.

In images shared on social networks, Dayane appeared visibly drunk, with Nego do Borel on top of her. At times, she tried to push the singer away and asked: “Stop that, Nego, stop that mouth!”

During the live showing of the program, presenter Adriane Galisteu explained that the inconsistency in the model’s testimony was what motivated the decision of the network to expel Nego do Borel from the reality show. “Some points were crucial,” he said.
