Producer who was on Marília Mendonça’s plane worked with Cristiano Araújo

The plane crash that killed singer Marília Mendonça, 26, on Friday afternoon (5) also left four other victims. Among them was the producer of artist Henrique Bahia, who had also worked with singer Cristiano Araújo (1986-2016).

Like Marília, Araújo was at the peak of his career when he died, victim of a car accident in the countryside of Goiás. “There are no words to describe what we are feeling right now! his side,” the producer wrote on Instagram at the time.

The accident that killed Marília Mendonça and the producer also left three other victims: an uncle of the singer, the pilot and the copilot. The aircraft was going to Caratinga, where it would perform tonight, but crashed about 12 km earlier, in a mountain range in Piedade de Caratinga, a city 309 km from Belo Horizonte.

According to Globonews, the aircraft carrying the singer and her team had its documentation up to date, according to Anac, the National Civil Aviation Agency, and Cenipa, the Center for Investigation and Prevention of Aeronautical Accidents.
