Tatjana Patitz, one of the leading supermodels of the 1980s and 1990s, has died at the age of 56, DailyMail.com has confirmed.
Her agent in New York confirmed the sad news to DailyMail.com on Wednesday morning, saying that Tatjana had recently passed away.
The cause of death is not yet known.

The Hamburg-born beauty was best known for her work with Vogue as well as her starring role in George Michael’s iconic music video Freedom in 1990.
In the clip she co-starred with the equally famous models of the time, and her friends, Cindy Crawford, Linda Evangelista and Christy Turlington.
Her last Instagram post was in August 2022 showing a picture of her dog.
