The actress Marilia Mitroussithe television Anna Manolakou from “Storgi”spoke exclusively to about theater, television, her love for music, as well as about the beautiful artistic opportunity to star alongside Maria Naufliotou and Evdokia Roumeliotisin the SKAI drama series.

• Tell us about your collaboration with Maria Naufliotou and Evdokia Roumeliotis. How was the atmosphere on the set?
“It’s my first TV job and I feel very lucky to have worked with two such great actresses. I was lucky enough to know Evdokia, I love her and it is very touching that she became my TV mom. She is a great actress but also an amazing person. I am collaborating with Maria Naufliotou for the first time and I hope it happens in the theater as well. He is an excellent professional and a very nice person. The atmosphere and collaboration during the filming had love and emotion.”
• Which scene from “Storgi” do you stand out? A touching scene that touched you.
“All the scenes because of the nature of the play have a lot of emotion. If I single one out, it’s when the Doctor and Anna see Maro in the doctor’s chair, while she’s not alive.”
• What message does the series convey to you?
“This series was missing from television. Domestic violence, the traumas we have as children can be resolved. The most important thing for me is that people take courage from this series and if they have something that does not let them go forward, to go to a specialist and talk. Psychotherapy is not taboo, it is redemption. This is how a whole society changes. The change starts from us.”
• If you weren’t an actor, what other profession would you see yourself in?
“I have finished the National Conservatory of Athens. I am a professional singer-musician. It is my other profession and I practice it.”
• Are you preparing something new at the moment? What plans do you have in the works?
“I’m having some discussions about a theater job next winter. I really want to continue television, rather in the arms of SKAI with which I had an excellent collaboration”.
• You come from an artistic family. Do you talk to your parents about various work topics? Do they advise you?
“Many times. And they advise me and help me. Their experience as well as their talent is something that has helped me a lot.”
• What is your favorite place in Athens? Where do you usually go?
“I love the center, Kolonaki and Exarchia.”
• Will you give us a wish for the readers of for the new year?
“I wish them luck, health and all their wishes come true.”
