But Andres Valencia just made $1.3 million from his paintings.

Raised in a house of collectors, the now 11-year-old Valencia started drawing since he was five years old and very soon, his parents realized he had talent.

Last year, he became the youngest artist in history to have his own booth at Art Miami, and in December he returned to the fair. There, he sold 11 works, for a total of $1.3 million.

His works are influenced by artists such as Jean Michel Basquiat, George Condo and Picasso, but also from the world of children, with influences from Pokemon and various action heroes.

“I love that people enjoy my art and it’s fun to go to different art fairs,” she tells Forbes.

His works have been bought by celebrities such as Brooke Shields and Sofia Vergara, while his dream is to see one of his paintings in the Louvre, according to Valencia.
