The actor admits that the series takes him out of his comfort zone
Travel show titled “The Reluctant Traveler” (The Reluctant Traveler) and hosted by Canadian actor, Eugene Levy is being prepared by the Apple TV+ streaming service.
Eugene Levy travels to the Arctic Circle, Tokyo, Utah, South Africa, Costa Rica, the Maldives, Lisbon and Finland in eight episodes. The activities he indulges in are sumo wrestling match refereeing, helicopter riding, ice fishing and dog sledding.
The presenter hopes the experiences will lead to a whole new chapter in his life and allow him to face some of his long-standing phobias.
“What’s the worst that can happen?” says Eugene Levy in the series trailer. “If I survive it will be great,” he adds.
The actor admits that the show takes him out of his comfort zone and claims he’s “a great indoor guy.”
The series also showcases the cities’ major luxury resorts, and Levy explores notable hotels and the places and cultures that surround them.
Eugene Levy has won four Emmys, including one for his role in the series ‘Schitt’s Creek’, one for producing it and two as a writer for the sitcom ‘SCTV’.
