Responsible for the most talked about party of 2021, Farofa da Gkay, actress and comedian Gessica Kayane, 29, said she sold some gifts to pay for the celebration, which took place in early December at the Marina Park Hotel, in Fortaleza, lasted three days and cost R$2.8 million.
In an interview with the program Altas Horas (Globo), by Serginho Grosiman, this Saturday night (25), Gkay also stated that he is still in debt from the celebration and joked that he would accept contributions via Pix to pay off the debts.
“I owe you, Serginho. I won’t deny it to you,” he said. She explained that she was inviting artists like Léo Santana and Wesley Safadão to participate in the party and, although they didn’t charge, there was the technical part of the presentation, which involved expenses.
“Food, drink, open bar, open food, free hotel. Now I owe a little. Wanting to make a Pix for me, I’ll receive all the gratitude,” he said. “I sold some gifts, I don’t think it’s wrong,” he added.
Also at Altas Horas, Juliana Paes added that Gkay created enmities for not having invited some famous people to Farofa. The comedian, however, explained that it is necessary to have special preparation to attend the celebration.
“How do I get to Fátima Bernardes and say ‘come on, Fátima’? I don’t have the courage! Farofa is a place you have to go mentally prepared. Because you’ll see things there that you might not see elsewhere in the world. It’s better to prepare the guest first. Shall we give it a year? Then next year your invitation will arrive,” he said.
“Ana Maria already said that she’s going to go under the buffet and scream at the dogs in the morning, waking everyone up. Juliana Paes will also be there,” concluded Gkay.
