Country singer Maurílio, 28, who works as a partner with Luiza, had to change antibiotics after experiencing bronchospasm, according to the medical bulletin released on Monday (27) . He has been hospitalized since December 15 after suffering three cardiac arrests while recording a DVD, in Goiânia (GO).
According to the bulletin, the artist remains intubated under mechanical ventilation, sedated and using a neuromuscular blocker. He also undergoes continuous hemodialysis and is monitored by hematology, neurology and nephrology teams.
On December 20, Maurílio was transferred from Hospital Jardim América, in Goiás, to the Instituto Ortopédico de Goiânia (IOG) after showing “clinical stability”. The transfer was carried out safely, according to a statement from the singer’s team.
One day after the singer’s transfer, the mom Odaisa Delmonte shared a record alongside his son on his Instagram profile rooting for his recovery. “I miss your smile and your hug. Wake up, son, we’re waiting for you”, he wrote in the caption.
After the incident with the singer, Work Show, the office that handles the duo’s performances, released a statement about the cancellation of two concerts they would do, on December 17th and 18th, in the cities of Sorriso and Glória d’Oeste, both in Mato Grosso.
On December 25th, a photo was posted on the duo’s profile with a Christmas message and thanks for their prayers to Maurilio. “Great health and light in everyone’s hearts and, once again, our thanks for all your prayers, donations and positive energy towards our Maurilio!”
