Actor Kit Harington, 36, announced that he will have another child with his wife, actress Rose Leslie, 35. The stars of “Game of Thrones” were married in 2018 and had their first child in 2021 – the child’s name was never revealed . According to Kit, the eldest son is about to have “the shock of his life” as he is getting a new brother or sister.
The announcement was made on the Jimmy Fallon show this Friday (3). “Fantastic! Are you excited?”, asked the presenter. “I’m terrified,” Kit said. “With the first baby, you’re walking on clouds and dancing in fields of daisies for nine months. Well, at least the man is. This time the reality check comes much sooner,” he explains.
He says he thinks the eldest son still doesn’t quite understand his mother’s pregnancy. “We’re trying to get him ready for that. We point to Rose’s belly and say ‘Mommy’s baby’. He points to his own belly and says ‘my baby'”, he laughs.
Kit and Rose met in 2011 while filming Game of Thrones — he played Jon Snow and she played Ygritte. In September 2017, the couple announced their engagement in the British Times newspaper. In June 2018, they were married in a castle in Scotland, which has belonged to the actress’s family for 900 years, according to the British tabloid Daily Mail.
