Carnival 2023: The time is coming! See the celebrities who will parade in Rio and SP

by

The time is coming. Carnival is already on the horizon and the technical rehearsals are there to warm up the revelers and celebrities invited to parade through schools in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo. As each parade brings a lot of information, it’s best to be prepared to look for the names you want to follow, either live at Sapucaí and Anhembi, or on television.

This is how samba has been samba: every year, new faces cross the avenues in a prominent position, and this time, the spotlight will be, in large part, on the model Yasmin Brunet. She debuts as the muse of Grande Rio, following in the footsteps of her mother, Luiza Brunet, who returns to parade through Portela, where she was queen of drums for years and which this year will honor important characters in her history.

Former BBB Arthur Picoli, zero intimacy with tambourines, will also go out in Portela, while influencer Pequena Lo and singer Xamã parade through Grande Rio. A darling of the famous, the school in Duque de Caxias will pay homage to Zeca Pagodinho and should also attract the music crowd.

As democratic as they are, the samba school parades make room for newcomers without leaving aside the old guard, so to speak, of the famous. We will see iconic figures evolving on the runways of Rio and São Paulo, people we are used to loving seeing on the avenue, and who parade like no one else.

Viviane Araújo continues dancing the samba, dancing, playing the tambourine and conducting the masses in Salgueiro and Mancha Verde, in her first Carnival after the birth of her son. The couple Paolla Oliveira and Diogo Nogueira continue in Grande Rio and Sabrina Sato will make another Gaviões da Fiel-Vila Isabel airlift. Check below the complete list of celebrities who will participate in Carnival 2023.
