BBB 23: Ricardo says he has kissed a man, but defines himself as straight

It seems that the men in this edition of the BBB are very “open minded”. That’s because, last week, Fred revealed that he has experience with other men. The participant stated that he “already kissed all his friends”. Now it was Ricardo Camargo’s turn to say that he has also kissed other men.

In conversation with Sarah Aline and Bruno Gaga, this Wednesday afternoon (8), the biomedical doctor told his colleagues that the experience was during his college years —and reflected on how the move to São Paulo (he is from Sergipe) opened to a different universe.

“When I arrived in São Paulo, in 2010, I saw women and women holding hands, kissing in public and stuff, for me it was a shock because in the Northeast we never had that. became normal and everyday for me,” he said.

He said that it was in graduate school that he got close to people who broke some of his paradigms. One in particular was a man he considered “handsome” and who tried to hook up with him, but Ricardo always replied with “no”.

“Until there was a day, at graduation, I had been drinking, but it wasn’t because of the drink. And I said: ‘go on, I’ll take it to see how it is’. It made me want to pick it up again,” he explained.

“I realized that it’s not something I want. It’s not. I really like women. A lot. I never had any doubts about that, but another side of me said ‘let’s see'”, he said.
