by

Known on social networks for making fun of the cultural differences between Germany and Brazil, the German comedian Lea Maria filed a police report with the Police Department for the Defense of Women for domestic violence. She accuses her then husband, comedian Juliano Gaspar, of having attacked her.

In video on her official Instagram profile, Lea declined to say details of what would have happened, but showed her right arm wrapped in a sling. “I wanted to reassure you that I am accompanied by my family, friends and professionals in the health and legal fields,” she said in the video. In the caption, she wrote: “I am yet another victim of domestic, physical and psychological violence.”

Cristiano Medina, the comedian’s lawyer, told the F5 that Lea has already started the process of requesting a divorce. She underwent some exams, such as the corpus delicti, in order to prove the injuries. “Lea had already been suffering psychological violence for a long time, but she was prevented from denouncing the aggressor due to her emotional fragility”, says the lawyer.

According to him, Juliano, on another occasion, had already physically attacked Lea, facts that the lawyer hopes to demonstrate during the course of the investigations. At the moment, the comedian is prevented from manifesting by determination of her psychiatrist and psychologist.

Currently, according to the lawyer, Juliano is in possession of part of the couple’s money, but there is already a negotiation for the sharing of assets.

Contacted by email and direct messages on social networks, Juliano Gaspar did not respond to requests until the publication of this text.

FRIENDS SUPPORT LEA

Friends of Lea Maria decided to support her on the internet. Among them the comedian Paulinho Serra. “Something terrible happened to Lea. I’m on her side and I will always be on the side of any woman who suffers violence. May justice be served. As far as I’m concerned, the aggressor will never make my nights again,” he posted.

The comedian Criss Paiva also opined on the case. “I just hope that this time no one minimizes the woman’s situation or waits for a second shitty attitude from the guy with other guys to stop booking a show”.
