The actress’s family had been faced, just two years ago, with the loss of her brother Stone’s 11-month-old son from organ failure
Sharon Stone’s brother Patrick Stone passed away unexpectedly after suffering a cardiac arrest over the weekend.
“Hi to all. This message confirms that yes, we lost my annoying Patrick Joseph Stone to a heart attack yesterday,” the actress said in an emotional video posted to Instagram on Monday.
The actress’s family was faced, just two years ago, with the loss of their 11-month-old son Patrick from organ failure in August 2021.
“Yes, he is River’s father who we lost last year… at 11 months old. They both leave behind their mother, Tasha, son, Hunter, and daughter, Kylie. Thank you all for your love and support during this time of immense grief for us and we appreciate all your condolences.”
Visibly upset, Sharon ended the video by asking her friends and followers to “be nice”.
Shortly after, she posted a series of photos with her brother.
The post came hours after the Pennsylvania medical examiner’s office announced that Patrick died amid a battle with heart disease.
His wife, Tasha, later spoke of his death saying: “My heart feels like it’s been ripped out of my chest. Patrick went to find our sweet River… I don’t know what else to say, he was my world. I’m not sure what life will be like without my husband by my side. I just hope he’s always watching over Hunter, Kaylee and me.”
Tasha went on to say that she will “forever hold” their “wonderful (and some not-so-wonderful but equally important) memories close to my heart and will always visit those memories.”
“Until we meet again, I will love you forever baby. My wish through all of this is that at least now River has his dad with him and I hope you two are having a great time.”
