Singer Leo Chaves made a surprising declaration of love to his partner, Carolina Figueira, in an Instagram text. The countryman published a photo in which the couple wears white, in the middle of a kiss. In the caption he wrote, “What a privilege to have you as my wife!”
The two were known until then as lovers, and the formal wedding ceremony was held in secret on Friday (24), Christmas Eve. “A very special moment that has passed, but that will stay with me forever,” he said.
Leo and the interior designer have been together since 2020, and keep their relationship very private. The musician was previously married to Tatiana Sbrana, a relationship that lasted 14 years and generated three children.
Other photos of the private ceremony were shared on the couple’s social media in recent days, but not to mention the wedding. On Saturday (25), Carolina published a photo holding hands with her current husband and wrote: “Christmas is always so special to me… this one will be forever imprinted in our memory! Thank you for sharing your life with me!”
Already Leo published on Sunday (26) a photo of his family with his partner, including his brother. The two formed the famous country duo “Victor & Leo” until the oldest, Victor, was denounced for misdemeanor after being caught on video assaulting his ex-wife, Poliana Batagini.
Victor was sentenced to 18 days in open regime, in addition to payment of compensation to the girl. Leo now pursues a solo career.
