The Lost City has something of an adventure, a romantic comedy and an action movie
In the film, Sandra Bullock plays Loretta Sage, a famous but lonely author of books that combine the romantic element with adventure. On the occasion of its most recent release, it is on tour to promote the book. She also has Alan with her, a model who accompanies her as one of the fantastic protagonists of her stories. Everything goes smoothly in their lives, until suddenly Fairfax appears. This is a billionaire who is obsessed with money and well-crafted stories.
So he kidnaps Loretta, forcing her to lead him to the treasure of the lost city she writes about in her book. This event triggers a series of hilarious events in the story. Alan, wanting to prove to Loretta that she is not just a beautiful model, decides to save her from Fairfax. So together they have to survive in the jungle and escape from it through all the unexpected things that happen to them.
Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum had a lot of fun shooting the film
This is evident from the excellent chemistry they already have from the trailer for The Lost City. In a recent interview for the release of the film, they even mentioned that they now have their own theory about such good chemistry. In particular, they believe that they separated in childbirth on the occasion of a laboratory experiment in the ’60s. And all this because they laughed a lot and developed such a special friendship that seems so sincere.
As for the release of the film, it is expected to take place in March 2022. The only thing they hope for the premiere is the audience to have fun as much as they had fun shooting it themselves.
