Yasmin Brunet loses lawsuit against lingerie brand for not regularizing documents

by

The model Yasmin Brunet, 34, was defeated in two instances in a lawsuit that moved against the lingerie brand Hope. She missed the deadline for regularization of documents and, thus, the process ended up extinguished. Sought, did not respond to any request.

The information was first published by columnist Ancelmo Gois and confirmed by F5. According to the Court of Justice of Rio de Janeiro, the appeal of the model and her fashion agency on this case had already been denied by the 39th Civil Court. And the most recent decision of the 21st Chamber of Private Law confirmed the extinction of the action after Yasmin’s appeal.

The model alleged, according to the columnist, that Hope violated an advertising contract in the use of her image in stores and internet channels. When the contract ended, the company should collect all the material, but it would not have done so. Yasmin asked for almost BRL 300,000 in fines and compensation for damages.

Also according to the publication, Hope would have assumed the operational failure and suggested the payment of BRL 70,000 to her as compensation, but Yasmin found the amount too low.

TJ-RJ claims that Yasmin appealed, but missed the deadline to regularize necessary documents. These issues were never done. With that, the process was archived.
