Anitta vents about Warner’s publication on Women’s Day: ‘Tired of working alone’

Anitta spares no criticism of Warner and details behind-the-scenes accounts of the troubled relationship that the artist has with the company. On Wednesday night (8), she criticized the label for using her photo on Women’s Day with the song “Envolver” — “a song they said they would never release if it wasn’t a feat,” she wrote.

The singer made a long outburst on social networks and reposted the publication in her honor. “Communication at Warner is so good that they used a picture of me in a Happy Women’s Day post, and I went public to ask respect for women and say that’s what this day means. Basically, they used my music , which they said they would never release if it wasn’t a feat, because I wasn’t strong enough,” he said.

She also said that she asked the owner of the company the amount of the fine in case of breach of contract, but that she was informed that “this would not happen”, and said that she wants to have a conversation with those responsible before activating the lawyers.

“Respect me and give me the least amount of importance, at least an honest, respectful and fair conversation that I asked to have, instead of sending your lawyers to talk to mine about money,” he said. And he posted an image of an exchange of messages in which he requests a meeting.

Anitta also said that the company does not do the proper work, which would be to publicize and promote its songs, and that, therefore, it will hire a person to cover Warner on a daily basis. With the backlash, the artist spoke to Internet users on Twitter and revealed that the organization did not want her to perform on stage at the American Music Awards in November last year.

“They didn’t even want that performance to happen. Shein [marca chinesa de roupas] who paid the costs for us because we asked for help,” replied one user.
