In a telephone conversation with the F5, she says she wants to use the footage and the repercussions to put pressure on the Chamber of Deputies for the removal of the Bolsonarist’s parliamentary mandate. “I’m on edge, very nervous. I’m going to sit down with my father, who is the person I trust most in life, and see what to do. He’s not a kid, he was the most voted deputy in Brazil”, says excited.
The journalist claims that she was already in her seat when Nikolas passed. At that moment, she spoke out loud that transphobia is a crime and that, upon hearing the comment, the deputy returned and sat down next to her. On Wednesday (8) of this week, Women’s Day, Nikolas put a blonde wig on the floor and mocked the existence of transgender women.
“He passed in the aisle and I said that what he did was a crime, so he came back and sat next to me. But I got that in my head. When the plane was landing, he turned to me and started saying that it wasn’t crime nothing and that he was going to keep talking”, he says.
“That’s when I started recording, I wish I had started earlier to show that he is not afraid or ashamed”. She even says that the men who were on the plane agreed and applauded Nikolas, and told him to “go after her”.
“I felt very cornered. Then he got up and his security came to stand behind me also recording, they have these images. I felt cornered, the entire flight in his favor. A gentleman came close to me and a woman too. I think that if it weren’t for them, things could have gone up a level, but they wouldn’t hit a man and a woman”, he says.
And she adds: “When he saw that he had no more argument, he started talking about BBB. I never wanted to be a digital influencer, but since I have two million followers, I’m going to use my voice for good and to put pressure on.”
