Trans model and actress from Lanthimos, the 24-year-old who appeared with …a feather on her chest

Although most of the ladies – famous actresses, singers, activists and Hollywood personalities – showed up at the 2023 Academy Awards ceremony looking chic and stylishly dressed, however, some guests made more… controversial appearances.

First and foremost is Hunter Schafer, the 24-year-old transgender model-actress-activist (and daughter of a pastor at Hudson Memorial Presbyterian Church in North Carolina) who managed to turn heads wearing a long silk skirt and a…feather ! The Euphoria star appeared after the Oscars at the Vanity Fair party. The actress will also play in Giorgos Lanthimos’ new film “And”.

But aside from the bare appearances at the after party, some guests caught the photographers’ flashes on the white carpet for all the wrong reasons – mainly for their unsuccessful looks that ranged from tacky to kitschy.
