Keira Knightley ruled out a return to the Pirates of the Caribbean film series, saying he wouldn’t want to change the fact that the character he played has left.

The English actress said she was satisfied with how Elizabeth Swann, a character she played in the series, ended her run.

Keira Knightley, when asked by an EW reporter about the possibility of returning to a new film, replied: “I mean, she left so beautifully. Walk away in brilliant style”

This year marks 20 years since the first Pirates of the Caribbean film, which helped launch Keira Knightley’s career. However, the actress admitted that she doesn’t remember “a lot” of the film because she shot it at such a pivotal and incredibly busy stage in her career.

Of the first film, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, Keira Knightley said: “It really launched my career. That year I also shot Bend It Like Beckham, Love Actually.

“Well, they ask me about all three. “Unfortunately, I was 16 and 17, so I don’t remember much from then, but yeah, it was definitely a really big year for me,” he explained.
