Bruce Willis’ wife Emma Heming Willis has revealed they renewed their vows on their 10th wedding anniversary. She posted a video of the ceremony, surrounded by friends and family, in a new Instagram post.
“On our 10th wedding anniversary we decided to renew our vows at the same place we said ‘I Do’ in 2009,” she captioned it.
“I’m so glad we did it. Take every opportunity to come together and celebrate with family and friends. These are the moments and the beautiful memories that you can keep for a lifetime,” he said afterwards.
“And we can keep those memories safe and alive for those who might not be able to,” she added at the end of her caption, referring to Bruce Willis, who was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia in February. This came after he developed aphasia, which causes speech difficulties, last year. His family said last year that he had given up acting as the condition affected his cognitive abilities.
