Prince William was spotted dining at a gay restaurant in Warsaw, Poland on Wednesday night, surprising patrons of Buetero Bistro, described online as a “queer venue”.

Footage of the prince’s meal which cost less than $10 was captured by a local. Prince William is seen wearing a button-down shirt as he sits with a group of his staff while a waiter takes an order.

A source told the Daily Mail that ‘the team from Kensington Palace booked a table to dine at a local restaurant near where they were working and Prince William decided to dine with them.

“He asked them what they were going to do and then asked them to go with them,” the source said. “It was a great night from everyone. The team really appreciated him asking them to go with them.”

The restaurant’s owner, Pawel Zasim, was just as surprised as his customers to see a prince dining at his restaurant, telling the British newspaper that he had “absolutely no idea” that Prince William would be coming.

The Prince of Wales revealed he ate a “pork roll sandwich” while they sat for about three hours.

For many, the prince’s decision to go to such a restaurant is a sign that he wants to reconcile with Poland’s LGBTI community.a sign that he wants to reconcile with Poland’s LGBTI community.
