To be Princess Ariel in the Disney movie “The little Mermaid” (The Little Mermaid) h Hallie Bailey they were many times even 13 hours in the water, as he revealed speaking to Edition magazine. The film, directed by Rob Marshall, used water tanks and visual effects to create extensive underwater scenes.

“I pushed myself as much as I could. And I feel like the message from Ariel was that you have to know that you always have it in you,” Bailey said.

The actress added that the film will give a more modern take on the classic story of the little mermaid.

“I’m really excited about my version of the movie because we’ve definitely changed the perspective of him wanting to leave the ocean for a boy,” Bailey said. “It’s much bigger than that. It’s about herself, her purpose, her freedom, her life and what she wants,” he added.

“As women we are amazing, we are independent, we are fashionable, we are everything. And I’m glad that Disney is touching on some of these issues,” Bailey said.
