Kanye West returned to Instagram with a post in which he states that Jonah Hill made him “like Jews again.” The rapper was banned from Twitter and Instagram in late 2022 due to a series of anti-Semitic comments, which also led to him dropping collaborations with Adidas and Balenciaga.

CAA, one of the largest artist representation agencies in the US, also cut ties with the rapper and entrepreneur.

Kanye West – who legally changed his name to Ye in 2021 – made the post on Instagram last Saturday. He shared a poster of the 2012 comedy film 21 Jump Street, starring Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum as cops who go undercover at a high school.

West accompanied the post with a caption that read, “Seeing Jonah Hill in 21 Jump Street made me like Jews again.”

“No one should be angry against one or two individuals and turn it into hatred towards millions of innocent people. No Christian can be called anti-Semitic knowing that Jesus is a Jew. Thank you Jonah Hill, I love you,” the post reads.

West in recent months came under fire for making offensive comments on social media and in interviews. His attitude resulted in the cancellation of business deals with various companies.
