A reminder that Portman will soon release a documentary about the Angel City Football Club women’s soccer team through HBO
Natalie Portman she is proud to introduce her children – and Los Angeles – to the world of women’s sports.
The actress has invested in Angel City Football Club, a brand new National Women’s Soccer League team in Los Angeles. Speaking to People magazine at the team’s launch, Portman shared how special it is for her children and the community to be a part of this venture.
“Well, that’s the joy of football, that it’s something that really brings people together and makes them happy,” the actress said.
“It’s really fun,” she added.
It is recalled that Portman will soon release a documentary about the women’s soccer team through HBO, which will tell the story of the team’s first season.
Angel City debuts on HBO in May and will be available to stream on HBO Max.
