Singer Conrado, 55, decided to tell his followers that this Sunday (2) he will undergo emergency surgery to remove cancer in the rectum. The husband of former paquita Andréa Sorvetão was diagnosed with the tumor last week after feeling sick during the recording of the fifth season of the program Canta Comigo, from Record.
Andrea was the first to share the news on the networks. “Sometimes life surprises us and God, in his infinite mercy and love, takes care of everything in detail. Conrado and I are in São Paulo recording the Canta Comigo 5 project, and suddenly Conrado doesn’t feel well”, began the influencer who listed all the tests done by the artist until the disease was discovered. “A malignant tumor was found at the end of the rectum,” she revealed. He is admitted to Hospital Samaritano Higienópolis.
She continued in the statement also published on the singer’s own profiles. “The best news is that the tumor is unique and has no metastasis. It is a case of surgery to completely remove the tumor, which will be analyzed and that way we will know how the postoperative period will be. We count on your prayers, our virtual family. Soon we will be here, together, with health, joy and our unshakable faith. Making sure that God is in control of everything”, he concluded.
