The 47-year-old star cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split from her husband, according to Davidson County court records obtained by TMZ.

The former couple, who have a son, 10-year-old Tennesse, will have to enroll in a parenting class, which is mandatory in Davidson County. They will then have 60 days to submit the certificate of completion to the court.
Witherspoon will reportedly submit their prenuptial agreement to a judge for approval, as well as a specific parenting plan. Two days before they celebrated their 12th wedding anniversary on March 24, the star surprised everyone when she announced she was separating from her husband.
