Mem de Oliveira, brother of actresses Luma and Isis de Oliveira, died this Wednesday (5), in Rio de Janeiro. The information was confirmed by Isis, in a publication on her profile on social networks. The cause of death was not disclosed. Burial information should also be released in the next few hours, according to the family, on Mem’s profile.
“Absolute sadness and devastated soul! My brother, Mem de Oliveira, died! My Menzoca”, wrote Isis. In the same publication, dozens of celebrities lamented the farewell. “My condolences, Lourinha”, wrote Miguel Falabella, a close friend of Ísis. Humberto Martins, Leda Nagle, Eriberto Leão and Fafy Siqueira were other personalities who sent their affection in the publication.
Former football player Renato Gaúcho also made several publications on his Instagram profile, this Wednesday, to mourn the farewell. “Unfortunately, today I lost a great friend. A lot of strength, Shanon. Your father was a very good guy,” he said, in stories, quoting Mem’s son, footvolley player Shanon Oliveira.
Mem de Oliveira became known among celebrities for having been Luma’s manager for 27 years. The two even had a legal battle in 2014 when the actress said that she would no longer like him as her administrator, who asked for compensation of R $ 3 million. They reached an agreement a few months later.
