Flay says he gained 10 kg and pimples with ‘beauty chip’: ‘It was the ugliness chip’

The singer and ex-BBB Flay spoke to Fantástico (Globo) this Sunday (16) about the use of anabolic steroids — more specifically about gestrinone, a steroid hormone known as the “beauty chip”. She gave reports on the period in which she used the hormone, banned since 2021 by Anvisa (National Health Surveillance Agency), and gained ten kilos on the scale.

Winner of The Masked Singer Brasil 3, Flay revealed that the comparison with other people made her resort to methods and procedures to “always be aesthetically well”. She wanted to lose weight and gain muscle mass.

The singer said she sought medical attention and “did everything right”. “There was this promise of weight loss, mass gain, skin improvement, cellulite improvement”, he told Fantástico. She said that, early on, she started experiencing hair loss and seeing big — negative — changes in her skin. “My skin was my biggest sadness. My face started to fill up completely with pimples. My body swelling a lot. It was with the chip that I gained ten kilos”, she reported.

“It was the ugliness chip,” joked Flay. The singer said that only after ceasing the use of the “beauty chip” was she able to achieve the aesthetic goals she was looking for. “When the effect of the chip wore off, I started to do a real diet, which worked, and exercise without the chip, that is, the chip was preventing me from losing weight.”
