The Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office is evaluating sexual assault charges against Armie Hammer. The US City Police Department has already handed over the investigation findings against the actor for review. The information is from CNN.

“I can confirm that the police department has filed a case regarding Armie Hammer with the prosecution. The matter is currently under review,” Tiffiny Blacknell, director of communications for the responsible branch, said in an interview with the station on Monday (17).

A woman identified as Effie has accused the actor, known for starring in “Call Me By Your Name”, of having been “mentally, emotionally and sexually” abused during a four-year relationship. The case surfaced in March 2021, after a report published by the Reuters agency. At the time, Hammer was married to Elizabeth Chambers.

According to PageSix, Hammer is living in the Cayman Islands, his homeland, pending the progress of the investigation. He has also been seen in Los Angeles in recent months and has not commented on the allegations.

In February of this year, he said he thought about committing suicide after the allegations surfaced and revealed that he was sexually abused in childhood.
