Demi Lovato, 29, got a spider tattoo on the side of her head. This Saturday (8), the singer published videos and photos on Instagram Stories showing the news. The tattoo artist Doctor Woo, from Los Angeles, was responsible for stamping the design.
Lovato shaved off part of her hair to get the tattoo. In one of the images, she wrote that she would need the help of her hairdresser to fix the look. The singer also published a sentence in which she says she was the “spider grandma who taught us a lot”.
“She taught us pottery and weaving. She taught us about fire, light and dark. She taught us that we are all connected on the web [rede] —each of us having our place in the world.”
According to Page Six, Demi Lovato got the tattoo after leaving a new season in a rehab clinic in Utah (USA). According to the website, the singer has now returned to her home in Los Angeles and is doing well.
The admission would have taken place shortly after she announced on Instagram in early December that she wanted to be completely sober. “I don’t support my ‘California sober’ ways anymore. Sober, sober is the only way to be,” he wrote at the time.
In the documentary “Demi Lovato: Dancing with the Devil”, released in March last year, the artist speaks openly about how she has faced chemical dependence. In 2018, she overdosed that nearly killed her. Rescued, she had three strokes, a cardiac arrest, organ failure and pneumonia. Had she not been found, she would have died within 5 or 10 minutes, doctors said.
Since then, Lovato has adopted a treatment based on medication and the “moderate” use of marijuana and alcohol. It is this way of fighting addiction that she referred to when she said that this kind of “California” sobriety was no longer working.
After posting about wanting to be completely sober, Demi Lovato deleted other posts from her Instagram. Currently, on his profile, which has 123 million followers, there is only one photo, published earlier this year.
