Through the famous lens of Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott with the background of the sea of the Cote d’Azur, the American star Zendaya became the face of the brand new campaign of the famous house Louis Vuitton for the iconic bag Capucines.

According to the French house, the Capucines bag, which was “created by Nicolas Ghesquière in 2013, takes its name from the Parisian street Rue Neuve-des-Capucines, where Louis Vuitton opened its first store in 1854.” Made from Taurillon leather, it combines multiple styles and features the house’s famous monogram.

“It’s amazingly made and durable,” Louis Vuitton’s newest ambassador and Golden Globe-winning actress told Vogue. “When I buy something, I want it to last me a long time. “I’m not always careful with bags, I might ‘throw’ them… I want to actually use it and know it’s durable,” added Zendaya.

The photoshoot took place in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, in the villa designed by the pioneer of the modernist movement architect, Eileen Gray, with the supervision of her close friend and stylist Lo Roach.
