After the death of actor Bob Saget, aged 65, this Sunday (9), actors and co-stars from the series “Three Is Too Much” (1987-1994) paid tribute to the artist. Names like John Stamos, Candace Cameron, Dave Coulier and Andrea Barber shared publications on their social networks.
“I am broken. I am broken. I am in total shock. I will never have another friend like him. I love you so much Bobby,” wrote John Stamos on his Twitter. The artist played Uncle Jesse in the series, and was the first of the cast to honor his friend.
The twins Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who played Michelle, the youngest daughter of the actor’s character in the series, spoke in a statement released to the website Page Six. “Bob was the most loving, compassionate and generous man,” they began in the text.
“We are deeply saddened that he is no longer with us, but we know he will remain by our side to guide us with the same grace as ever. Our thoughts are with his daughters, wife and family, and we are sending our condolences.”
On Monday morning (10) Candance Cameron, who gave life to DJ, the eldest daughter, shared a sequence of photos with Saget and wrote in the caption: “I love you so much. I don’t want to say goodbye. 35 years no. were enough”.
Dave Coulier, who played Joey Gladstone, Saget’s character’s best friend on the series, also shared a photo of the two on his Instagram. “I will never let you go brother. I love you,” he wrote in the publication’s caption.
Andrea Barber, who played Kimmy Glibbler in the plot, wrote a long text to honor the actor. “This hurts. He had the biggest heart of anyone in Hollywood. He gave the biggest hugs. I’m devastated that I’ll never be able to hug him again,” she began.
“Bob finished every text, every interaction with ‘I Love You’. No matter how long we were apart. He loved you so deeply and fiercely. And he never hesitated to tell you how much you meant to him,” the artist continued.
“This is the biggest lesson I learned from Bob Saget—don’t hesitate to tell people you love them. I feel at peace knowing that Bob knew exactly how much I adore him. Rest well, my dear friend. that you’re making everyone in Heaven laugh until their cheeks hurt, just like you did here on Earth.”
