It looks like a futuristic aircraft and has stunning floor-to-ceiling views of the Highlands
The couple behind one of the UK’s most booked Airbnb properties say the innovative build took just ten days to complete.
Architect Roderick James and interior designer-wife Amanda Markham designed and built AirShip 002 in 2018.
Its “remote, comfortable, compact aluminum-clad capsule construction” looks like a futuristic aircraft and boasts stunning floor-to-ceiling views of the Highlands.
Accommodation costs $205 per night. In Drimnin, Scotland, it was the most desired Airbnb rental in the UK for 2020 and is still securing (pre)bookings over a year in advance.
The project cost $124,000, but has already made its money for five years, almost as soon as it went “on the market”.
After the success of AirShip, the couple has launched two other small projects of houses for rent through Airbnb.
