Taylor Swift’s love life remains a constant concern for fans. This Wednesday (3), The Sun newspaper said that the pop singer would be dating Matty Healy, lead singer of The 1975. The two approached in late 2014, but never got to take on the case.
A source close to Taylor told The Sun that the two “are head over heels in love”. “It’s too soon, but it feels right. They first dated, very briefly, almost ten years ago, but the timings just didn’t work out,” said the interviewee. The couple would also be trying to reconcile tours, making several calls via Face Time and messaging apps.
The possibility left fans in an uproar on social media on Wednesday night. The approach is nothing new, as the two were seen together at a party after the Brit Awards in February 2015, months after the possible affair emerged in the media.
In January of this year, Taylor Swift made a surprise appearance onstage at a concert by The 1975, performing at London’s O2, on the first night of the “At Their Very Best” tour. On the occasion, the pop artist sang “The City” and “Anti-hero”, earning Matty’s “queen” praise.
Last November, the lead singer of the English band claimed to have contributed compositions to Taylor’s most recent album, “Midnights”. Both Taylor and Matty declined to comment on the current news.
