The widow of the so-called ‘King of Rock and Roll’ Elvis Presley, Priscilla, has reached a settlement over the dispute over the will of her late daughter, Lisa Marie, her lawyer said Tuesday. Lisa Marie Presley died at age 54 on January 12 in Los Angeles after a cardiac arrest. The only heiress of the mythical rock and roll star had appointed her mother as co-manager of her estate.

Lisa Marie, however, changed her legal will in 2016, removing her mother from the will and placing her eldest daughter, actress Riley Keough, as a beneficiary. In court documents, Priscilla argued in January that she had not been notified of the change in life, and that it contained errors, so it should be considered invalid.

On Tuesday, his attorney informed a Los Angeles judge that the dispute had been resolved. The terms of the agreement were not disclosed. “The families are happy,” said their lawyer Ronson Shamoun as he left the court hearing the case. “They are united, together, and excited for the future.”

Priscilla Presley, 77, expressed satisfaction with the deal in a statement and asked for privacy. “My family sorted out this mess,” she wrote. “As a family, we are pleased that we got through it together.” “The Presley family is stronger than ever.” She divorced Elvis in 1973 after six years of marriage.

Lisa Marie controlled the lucrative Elvis Presley Enterprises conglomerate, but sold the shares to a private company in 2005. She also controlled Graceland, her father’s famous mansion in Memphis, Tennessee, visited by tens of thousands of people. every year and where the star was found lifeless in August 1977.

Riley Keough, 33, is an actress whose big-screen appearances include “Mad Max: Fury Road.” Lisa Marie also left two teenage twins: Harper and Finley.
